वसुदॆव सुतं दॆवं 

कंस चाणूर मर्दनम् ।

दॆवकी परमानन्दम्

कृष्णं वन्दॆ जगद्गुरुम्

vasudeva sutaṁ devaṁ

kaṁsa cāṇūra mardanam ।
devakī paramānandam

kr̥ṣṇaṁ vande jagadgurum

I bow to Sri Krishna, son of Vasudeva, the divine being, guru of the entire world, the killer of wicked Kamsa and Chanoora, the source of happiness to Mother Devaki, and the teacher of the Universe.
